Thank you for your spectacular commitment to the Arts Center, Amanda. Her next big travel plans may include taking the Pacific Coast Rail from Los Angeles to Seattle, or going on a kayaking adventure in the San Juan Islands to spot whales. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, and aims to travel more. The workshop is led by professional mokuhanga artists, master carvers and printers. Amanda is a Senior Project Manager for the commercial construction company which is currently overseeing the construction of the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, TX. mokohanga artists and academic researchers. This 4-day hands-on workshop will familiarize students with the traditional technique of moku hanga and present contemporary options to some of the historic. There are no classes on weekends or Fridays. Her, her family, and cat Lily and dog Riley still share a family home in town. Classes begin at 1pm and end at 6pm after a workshop cleaning up. April Vollmer recently taught a two-day Moku Hanga workshop at the Printmaking Center of New Jersey. We are based in the picturesque Alpine resort town of Karuizawa.
